run into a former classmate you haven’t seen since the beginning of the
semester. Chat with her about what you’ve been up to lately. Last time you saw
her, she was getting ready for midterm exams. You also have a mutual friend who
was in the same class - “John” – John has 3 final exams this week! Says he’s
busy, but it’s interesting.
2. You run into a former classmate you haven’t seen since the beginning of the semester. Chat with her about what you’ve been up to lately. Last time you saw her, she was going to Japan. You also have a mutual friend who was in the same class as both of you “Lisa” – Lisa is teaching English in Japan! Says it’s fun, but she’s busy.
3. You run into a former classmate you haven’t seen since the beginning of the semester. Chat with her about what you’ve been up to lately. Last time you saw her, she was starting a new job. You also have a mutual friend who was in the same class as both of you “Eric” –Eric is now working for Toyota in Tokyo! He says it’s hard, but interesting.
